Biography

Pupilitparo (also known as Pupiparo) is a Japanese three-piece rock band formed in June 2010. Originally called The Cheese, the band adopted its current name in 2016 after deciding on a rebrand the previous year. The group features a dual-vocal setup with Fuku on guitar and vocals, Amano Kaori on bass and vocals, and Mamopole on drums and backing vocals. Known for their energetic performances and quirky yet emotionally resonant songs, the band has built a dedicated fanbase through both studio releases and live shows. Their debut mini-album Paroism Kakumei was released on August 17, 2016, marking their first major release under the new band name. In 2018, they held a self-produced show titled Takkaraputo Night Super, and in 2020, they celebrated their 10th anniversary with the Takkaraputo One-man tour across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. Blending upbeat rock with playful lyrics and harmonized vocals, Pupilitparo has carved out a distinct identity in the Japanese indie scene. Their 2nd full album Flower Road (2025), showcases their continued evolution as a band that balances fun with heartfelt emotion.
