David Jones â AKA Pressha - is an R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. As Pressha, Jones released his debut single, âAll The Way Liveâ, in 1994 on the independent Pandisc Records label. His second single, âPut Ya Thang Downâ, was released on Atlantic Records in 1995. By 1996, he had joined Southsyde B.O.I.Z., signed to LaFace Records and released the single âGet Ready, Here It Comes (Itâs The Choo Choo)â. After leaving Southsyde B.O.I.Z., Pressha remained with LaFace and released the album Donât Get It Twisted in 1998. The single, âSplackavellieâ, reached Number 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart and Number 14 on the R&B/Hip-Hop Singles chart. The song was also featured on the soundtrack to the motion picture The Players Club. After one more 1998 single, âDo Boyâ, Pressha dropped out of the public eye. David Jones would later resurface as Mr. David and release the album Jody is Back in 2004.
