Biography

Florida-born DJ and producer Thomas Leas, aka PLS&TY, has established himself as one of the leading names in the future bass style of the 2020s. A native of Palm Beach, he took classical piano lessons and practiced photography and video for touring artists, before taking his turn behind the decks. Taking as his pseudonym PLS&TY, a pun on his marital status for "Please & Thank You" (Leas and "Tommy"), he made a name for himself with a remix of Drake's "Hotline Bling" used in 2015 by k-pop group GOT7. Since 2016, he has multiplied his singles and collaborations, willingly offering his tracks to remixers of all kinds, such as "Down for Me" (2018), "Motives", "Feeling Forever", "Run Wild" and "Summer's Young" (2019). His future bass style tinged with chillout ambiences is the hallmark of the producer with fresh, sunny sounds, cultivating positivity. In 2023, PLS&TY scored its first hit in the American dance charts with "Party in My Head", followed by others such as "Turning Tides" (2024) and "Leave the Light On", with the collaboration of x.o.anne (2025).
