Emanuel Cortés Herrera, known professionally as Pirlo 420, is a Colombian rapper and songwriter born on July 25, 1999, in Cali, Valle del Cauca. Emerging from a challenging upbringing marked by the tragic loss of his father at age 16, Pirlo channeled his experiences into music, beginning with freestyle battles in 2020. His breakthrough came with the 2021 release of "Ziploc," a track that garnered national attention and led to a remix featuring Blessd. That same year, he debuted the EP El Diablo & La Rata in collaboration with Yepo TFOM. In 2022, Pirlo released his first full-length album, The Mouse XXIII, featuring artists like Esteban Rojas, Lael, and Kris R. His 2023 EP 365 DÃas de Aguante included collaborations with Hozwal and Andy Rivera. Notable singles such as "Imagen," "Vice," and "Sin Forzar" further solidified his presence in the Latin trap scene. In 2024, Pirlo collaborated with Feid on "Cuál Es Esa" and with Maluma on the reggaetón hit "Mionca," expanding his reach within the Latin music industry. His 2025 album La Luz del Barrio showcased his evolution as an artist, blending raw narratives with polished production.
