Pink Cres. (styled as PINK CRES.) is a Japanese girl group established by Up-Front Create in 2016, featuring three members: Miyabi Natsuyaki, Hikaru Kobayashi, and Yūka Nihei. Natsuyaki, previously part of the Japanese idol group Berryz Kobo since 2004, continued her singing career after the group went on indefinite hiatus in 2014. In 2015, she conducted auditions to form a new girl group, announcing the addition of Hikaru Kobayashi and Yūka Nihei in April 2016, and together, they made their first public appearance at Buono!'s concert on August 25, 2016. PINK CRES. marked their debut with the release of the studio album Crescendo on June 28, 2017, featuring music videos for "Fun Fun Fun" and "Kirei Kawai Mirai," which, despite entering the charts at number 150, laid the foundation for their musical journey. On June 27, 2018, the group released their second studio album, Etcetera, which performed slightly better, reaching number 66 on the charts. The group achieved their best chart position on May 22, 2019, with the release of their first major double A-side single, "Tokyo Confusion" / "Uchū no Onna wa Amakunai," reaching number 13. This single was featured on their EP Soleil, where a second single, "Roulette," also secured a place in the top 30. On March 19, 2021, Pink Cres. announced their disbandment, effective at the end of June, with Kobayashi and Nihei departing from Up-Front Create, seeing Natsuyaki continue her journey with the agency as a soloist.
