Biography
Picture Parlour, an English indie rock band, was formed in Manchester in 2021 by Katherine Parlour (vocals, guitar) and Ella Risi (guitar). The duo initially met as students in Manchester before relocating to London. They later expanded their lineup with Kitty Fitz (guitar), Joey Django (bass, guitar), Michael Nash (drums). Picture Parlour performed their debut show at The Windmill, Brixton in December 2022. Their first single "Norwegian Wood" was released on July 24, 2023, followed by "Judgement Day" on October 17, 2023. In February 2025, the band played at The Windmill Brixton with a new five-piece lineup featuring Kitty Fitz and Joey Django. They embarked on a six-night headline tour in July 2025, supported by the Music Venue Trust. Picture Parlour's debut EP Face in the Picture was released on June 14, 2024, followed by their first album The Parlour on November 14, 2025.
