Philippe Brach, born Philippe Bouchard on July 22, 1989, in Chicoutimi, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, Canada, is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He began his musical journey while studying at Cégep de Jonquière in television production and launched his solo career in 2012. Brach gained recognition by winning Ma première Place des Arts and the Sirius XM prize at the Festival en chanson de Petite-Vallée in 2013. He signed with Spectra Musique and released his debut album, La foire et lâordre, in April 2014, and won the Révélation de l'année Radio-Canada and ADISQ awards for 2015. Brach followed up with Portraits de famine in September 2015, co-produced by Louis-Jean Cormier. His third album, Le silence des troupeaux, released in November 2017 and co-produced with Jesse Mac Cormack, won five Félix Awards at the ADISQ Gala in 2018. After nearly three years away from public life following Le Show Chié, he returned with the album Les gens qu'on aime in 2023.
