Phil Nichol, born in Scotland and raised in Canada, was a singer-songwriter and comedic musician. He gained recognition as a member of the musical comedy trio Corky and the Juice Pigs, known for the song "Eskimo". He released the comedic album Late Night Electric Watermelon in 2014. Phil Nichol released several albums, including Nearly Gay & the Naked Racist (2012), Late Night Electric Watermelon (2014), and Ethelâs Little Ditties (2016). His musical theater roles included playing Philip Salon in the West End musical Taboo (2002).
