Biography
Persuader, a power metal group from Umeå, Sweden, formed in 1997. The band's initial breakthrough came with their demo Visions and Dreams released in 1998, which garnered positive reviews. Their first studio album, The Hunter, followed in 2000. After a period of instability, including the departure of guitarist Pekka Kiviaho and the dissolution of their label Loud 'n' Proud, Persuader reformed with Emil Norberg on guitar and released Evolution Purgatory in 2004. Jens Carlsson and Emil Norberg also contributed to Savage Circus during this period. Their third album, When Eden Burns, was published in 2006. After a lengthy hiatus, Persuader returned with The Fiction Maze in 2014, released by Inner Wound Recordings, followed by Necromancy in 2020.
