Biography

Percubaba, a group with a collective feel, hails from Saint-Malo (Ille-et-Vilaine). Percubaba puts across a conscious, festive message through reggae and alternative rock. Firmly rooted in the independent scene, Percubaba founded the Foutadawa label in 1999, and released their first album in 2000. Regular touring supported subsequent albums, enabling the band to build a loyal fan base. Dream & Strup (2002), Live (2005), and AntistatiQ (2006) approach the top hundred French bestsellers on their release. A symbolic milestone that Primitifs can reach in 2010.
