Biography
Pedro Libe is a Brazilian singer-songwriter born in Porangatu, Goiás, and raised in Araguaçu, Tocantins. He discovered his passion for music as a child when his mother gifted him a guitar. Teaching himself to play, Pedro Libe grew up inspired by sertanejo artists, which shaped his sound and ignited his talent for composing, singing, and performing. Moving to Goiânia, the heart of Brazilâs sertanejo scene, he funded his first single while building his reputation with his powerful voice and commanding stage presence at major agricultural expos and clubs. During the pandemic in 2020, Pedro Libe's career took a pivotal turn when he connected with the iconic duo Jorge & Mateus, who became his mentors and business partners. In June 2021, he recorded his first live DVD, Pra Causar â Ao Vivo em Goiânia, featuring 19 tracks and collaborations with prominent sertanejo artists like Jorge & Mateus, Hugo & Guilherme, and Clayton & Romário. Divided into two EPs, the first part of the album was released in December 2021, marking the beginning of his ascent in the Brazilian music scene. Another live release, Ao Vivo & Valendo, arrived in early 2025.
