Patrizia Laquidara, born on October 29, 1972, in Catania, Sicily, is an Italian singer. She started her musical career by performing in piano bars after moving to Vicence. In 1998, she trained at the CET school under Mogol. Her first solo album, Para você querido Caé, was released in 2001 and dedicated to Caetano Veloso. Laquidara participated in the Sanremo Festival in 2003 with "Lividi e fiori," winning the Mia Martini Critics Award and the Alex Baroni Award for Best Performance. That year, she also released Indirizzo portoghese and its live version. She collaborated on various projects, including the soundtrack for the film Lezioni d'amore. Her 2007 album Funambola, produced by Arto Lindsay and Patrick Dillet, featured notable collaborations. Laquidara received the Prix Maschera d'Oro from the Conservatory of Bologna and continued to perform extensively in Italy and the United States.
