Patrick Alavi is a German musician and DJ born in 1978 in Frechen. He performed in the funk, electronic, and house genres. He released his first EP, DJ ALAVI, in 1996 through Sonic House. In 2001, Alavi signed with Moody Recordings and International House Records. Kris Menace signed him to the label Work It Baby in 2004. The recording "Power" appeared with new mixes on Azuli Records. His track "Come to Me" reached number 3 in the UK Buzz charts. Alavi founded the label roXour in 2005. That year, the track "The End" reached Number 1 in the UK Buzz charts. Under the project name Turbofunk, he released "Gotta Move" in 2007. The track reached number 79 in the Dutch single charts and Number 1 in the UK Buzz and Hype charts. Alavi produced remixes for artists including Jamelia, Gossip, and Laidback Luke.
