Biography
Paris Texas, an American alternative hip hop duo from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 2018 by rapper-producers Louie Pastel and Felix. The pair met during their freshman year at El Camino College in 2013 and began making music together shortly after. Their first release, the six-track EP I'll Get My Revenge in Hell, was launched in October 2018. After an extended hiatus, Paris Texas re-emerged in 2021 with their debut album Boy Anonymous which received critical acclaim. They followed this with the EP Red Hand Akimbo later that year and the album Mid Air in July 2023. Notable singles include "Heavy Metal" (2021), "Situations" (2021), and RökKOut (2024). The duo has collaborated with artists such as Tyler the Creator, Kenny Mason, Clairo, Kenny Beats, and Lil Yachty. They have performed at high-profile music festivals including Lollapalooza, Coachella, Camp Flog Gnaw, This Ain't No Picnic, Governors Ball, and MS Dockville.
