Panteros666 is the pseudonym of Victor Watel, a DJ, producer, video director and graphic designer from northern France. He studied music at a jazz school and learned to play the drums, an instrument he soon replaced with an obsolete drum machine. An adept hijacker of scattered visual sources and absurd sound collages, he drew his inspiration from the extreme dance music practiced in Belgian and Dutch clubs in the 1990s, such as happy hardcore, gabber and jump, to invent an identity where yesterday's bad taste becomes contemporary chic. He scored his first popular success in 2013 with the track " Baby F-16". In 2015, Panteros666 invited multi-hatted artist Woodkid to lend his melancholy vocals to the track "Clear".
