André Bemba-Bingui, known professionally as Pamelo Mounkâa, was born on May 10, 1945, in Brazzaville, Congo. He began his musical journey as a singer and composer, initially performing under the name Pablito with local groups such as Negro City and La Jeunesse Musicale du Congo.
