The Canadian country singer-songwriter Owen Riegling is best know for his platinum-selling hit "Old Dirt Roads," which reached number 2 on the Canada Country Chart in 2023. He was born in 1999 in Mildmay, Ontario, where he was raised on a large farm. "Smoke Man," his debut single, was released in 2020 as part of the EP Empty Room. A deal with Universal Music Canada followed, as did the major-label debut single "Love (The Sweater Song)." The song was a hit on Canada's country singles chart, where it hit number 29. The rural landscapes of his hometown inspired Owen Riegling's next single, "Old Dirt Roads," a platinum-selling mega-hit that was nominated at the Country Music Association of Ontario for "Single of the Year." "Old Dirt Roads" climbed all the way to number 2 on the Canada Country chart and served as the flagship single of his second EP, Bruce Country. A second track, "Moonshines," was released later that year and reached number 46, becoming Owen Riegling's third country hit in the Top 50. Following the release of his debut album Bruce County (From the Beginning) in November 2024, Owen Riegling released In the Feeling in April 2026. The album featured the hits "Tailight This Town" which reached number 8 on the Canadian Country chart, and "Love Hate Love", which reached number 12. The compilation album Bruce Road 3 Sampler was released in July 2026.
