Biography

Otis SandsjÃ¶, born on July 7, 1987 in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a Swedish actor and jazz musician. He began his career as an actor, appearing in the television series NÃ¤r karusellerna sover. His musical journey started with the reggae band Ska'l Man, which won GÃ¶teborgstalangen in 2003 and released an album the following year. SandsjÃ¶ then collaborated with various artists, including Isabel SÃ¶rling and Farvel and participated in Melodifestivalen in 2008 and 2010. In 2016, he moved to Berlin and worked on Lucia Cadotsch's project Speak Low and composed "Baby It's You, Not Me" for the Danish dance band The Mob. SandsjÃ¶ released his debut album Y Otis in 2018, featuring Elias Stemeseder, Petter Eldh, and Tilo Weber. In 2024, SandsjÃ¶ released Y-Otis Tre, collaborating with Petter Eldh and keyboardist Dan Nicholls.
