Biography

Omar Camacho is a Mexican American urbano and regional Mexican singer born on April 1, 2007, in San Diego, California, and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Moving between both sides of the border, he grew up with the influence of U.S. hip-hop and norteño music, then began posting covers of corridos and short music clips online as a teenager. That visibility led him to Rico o Muerto Music, the label associated with Óscar Maydon, after which he began releasing a run of singles and collaborations in 2025. His early catalog included “New Mind,” “Libros y Libretas,” and “3 AM” with Jimmy Guzman, before “2+2” with Victor Mendivil became his breakout track. He followed with “La Ciudad del Sol” with Óscar Maydon, “Tusinelli” with Angel Almaguer, “Mi Cuernito” with Marcos Villalobos, and a remix of “2+2” featuring Colombian artist Blessd. In 2026, Omar Camacho continued through “4x4” with Victor Mendivil, Angel Almaguer, and $HUPE, “No Es De Amigos” with Miranda León, “Por Hollywood” with Óscar Maydon, and “Atrévete” with Santa Fe Klan. His first album, Nunca Voy a Morir, was scheduled for May 2026, extending his mix of corridos, urbano latino, rap, and borderland regional sounds.
