Biography
Marylou Mayniel, aka Oklou, was born in Poitiers in 1993 and grew up in the west of France, where she received a classical musical education. After moving to Paris and then London, she began sharing her tracks on SoundCloud in 2016. Her EP The Rite of May is released in 2018 by NUXXE. In 2020, she releases the mixtape Galore, carried by unearth me. She composes the soundtrack for the game Zone W/O People and plays for the collective TGAF. Actor in After School Knife Fight, she cites Frank Ocean, James Blake and SZA among her influences.
