Officium Triste, a death-doom band from Rotterdam, Netherlands, was formed in 1994. The group initially started as Reïncremated before changing their name and musical direction to Officium Triste. Their first recording, Demo '94, was released in August 1994, followed by the EP "Mountains Of Depressiveness" in 1996. In April 1997, they released their debut album Ne Vivam. The band's second full-length album, The Pathway, was released in May 2001. Officium Triste disbanded in September 1998 but reformed in January 2000. They continued to release albums such as Reason (2004), Giving Yourself Away (2007), and Mors Viri (2013). The band's discography includes notable songs like "Roses on my Grave" and collaborations with bands like Cold Mourning.
