Biography
Ocie Elliott is a Canadian folk music duo from Victoria, British Columbia. Formed in 2017 by Jon Middleton and Sierra Lundy, they met when Middleton performed solo at a cafe where Lundy was working. They initially performed cover versions of songs by artists such as Simon & Garfunkel and John Prine in local coffee shops and restaurants. In early 2019, Ocie Elliott signed with Vancouver-based Nettwerk Music Group and released their debut album We Fall In. Notable songs from this period include "Run to You," featured in a 2019 episode of Grey's Anatomy, and "The Less We Know," included in a 2022 episode of the same show. The duo has since released several albums, including In That Room (2020) and EPs such as Slow Tide (2021). They were nominated for the Juno Award for Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2022 Juno Awards.
