O.A.Be is a Korean R&B girl group composed of three members, all born in 1993. Sojeong provides vocals in the chorus, Sooyeon is the main vocalist, and Yuri plays the keyboard. The group's name stands for Oasis Bay, symbolizing their desire to create music like an oasisâan escape from daily lifeâs stresses. Sooyeon and Sojeong met in high school while in the US, and Yuri was a keyboardist for Sooyeon during her solo career. It was Sooyeon who suggested forming a group, leading to their debut with the EP My Paradise in August 2024. Since then, they have released four singles up to June 2025, including "Autumn in Seoul" (2024) and "Heart Pounding Love" (2025). Their single "Shall We Dance?" released on September 9, 2025, entered Melonâs Top 500 chart at number 303 three weeks after its release on September 21.
