Biography

King Just is a rapper who has evolved within the Wu-Tang Clan collective and released three albums under his own name. Born in 1972 in New York State, he gravitated towards the Shaolin Soldiers and The Hillside Scramblers groups. His real name is Adrian Angevin, and in 1994 he scored a minor hit with "Warrior's Drum", his only track to chart at No. 96 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track, featuring a drum'n'bass remix by DJ Jam, went on to become the title track of King Just's first album, Mystics of the God, released in 1995 and featuring another single, "No Flow on the Rodeo". Back in 2001, King Just released No Power on Earth, followed in 2005 by a mixtape entitled Go N on Em'. In 2016, he collaborated with Pop da Brown Hornet on the album Best of Both Hoods.
