Biography

Nkosazana Nolwazi Kimberly Nzama, known professionally as Nkosazana Daughter, was born on 6 October 2000 in Durban, South Africa. She is a singer and songwriter who gained recognition after releasing singles such as "Izitha" and "Umama Akekho". Nzama's music career began to emerge when she started working with DJ Prince Kaybee and Goldmax from the Distruction Boyz musical duo. In 2023, her debut studio album Uthingo Le Nkosazana was released, charting at number 34 1 on an online streaming platform's Top Albums and debuting at number 3 in South Africa. In 2022, she released the collaboration song "Sofa Silahlane" with Master KG and Lowsheen, which hit Number 1 on Apple's Local iTunes Charts. She was announced as Africa Rising recipient by Apple Music towards the end of June 2023.
