Nina Hynes, born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, is an Irish singer. She began her music career with the release of the EP Creation on Reverb Records in 1999. Following her debut LP Staros in 2002, which received critical acclaim in Ireland, she gained significant success with the single "Mono Prix". Hynes toured extensively across North America from 1999 to 2002 and Europe from 2002 to 2008. Her second album Really Really Do was released in 2007. She has collaborated with various artists, including Hector Zazou and Brian Eno collaborator Harold Budd, and contributed vocals to several notable projects such as the Abbey Road Children in Need single "All You Need Is Love" by The Beatles. Hynes has also composed soundtracks for films like Glue (2018) and returned with new album titled ZAP! in 2020. In 2025, Nina moved to Brussels after spending 18 years living in Berlin.
