Glenda Nickol Sinchi Urbano, known professionally as Nickol Sinchi, was born on January 31, 1999, in Villa El Salvador, Lima, Peru. She is a singer of Peruvian cumbia music. From an early age, she showed an interest in singing, influenced by her father Agustín Sinchi, who was an aspiring musician. In 2014, at the age of 15, Nickol Sinchi joined the popular Peruvian cumbia group Corazón Serrano after being invited to perform on stage during one of their concerts. She officially became a member in November 2014 and remained with the group until March 2023. During her tenure with Corazón Serrano, she contributed to several notable albums including Gran colección de éxitos (2014) and Volverás (2017), and popularized tracks such as "Malo muy malo" and "Aun te sigo amando". In 2023, Nickol Sinchi announced her departure from Corazón Serrano to pursue a solo career. She launched Nickol Sinchi & Orquesta, debuting with the single "Premonición" in August of that year. Her first original solo track, "Ahora vuelves a mi", was released in October 2023. She followed up in 2024 with the track "Nada Puedo Hacer Por Ti," and collaborated with Azucena Calvay y Orquesta on the song "Feliz Navidad" in 2025. That year, she dropped the romantic cumbia singles "Cuando Estoy a Tu Lado" and "Se Me Parte el Corazón."
