Nick Woodland, born on January 23, 1951, in London, is a British guitarist known for his contributions to rock and blues music. He began his career playing with bands including Amon Düül II and Gift. Woodland has collaborated with numerous artists, accompanying icons such as Donna Summer and Boney M., and touring with Marius Müller-Westernhagen. In 1982, he began performing with his own band, initially known as Nick Woodland and the Magnets. He contributed music for the film Wir Enkelkinder in 1992 and played with the prog-rock band Sahara from 2006 until its dissolution. Woodland has released several albums including The Goodburn Clearing House (2011), The Current that Flows (2011), and Something I Heard Live (2013). His notable achievements include the Schwabing Art Prize in 1996 and AZ Star of the Week in 2001.
