Nazan Åoray, born Nazan Åoray on January 19, 1954, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a singer and actress. She began her career in 1968 by appearing in movies, making her cinematic debut at the age of 14 with Cesur Yabancı. Åoray's music career started in the early 1980s with the release of "Sana Merhaba Dedim," written and composed by Selami Åahin. She gained prominence with the song "Hal Hal," composed by BarıŠManço, which was a commercial success. Her debut album Teselliye Sen Gerek was released in 1981. Throughout her career, Åoray has released several albums, including Naz Dudaklım (1991), Dünyanın Sekizinci Harikası (2018), and Deli rüya (2018). She went on hiatus in the mid-1990s but returned to music with the album Mültecin Olayım in 2011. Åoray has also appeared in over 30 movies, notable roles include Acı Günler and Balayı.
