Nawal George Al Zoghbi, known professionally as Nawal El Zoghbi, was born in 1972, in Jbeil, Lebanon. She is a singer and actress who began her career by participating in the talent show Studio El Fan in 1988. Her breakthrough came with the release of Wehyati Andak in 1992. From 1994 to 2002, she released albums annually, including Mandam Aleik (1998) and Maloum (1999), which featured notable songs like "Min Habibi Ana", a duet with Wael Kfoury. After a hiatus, she returned in 2004 with Eineik Kaddabeen, followed by Yama Alou in 2006 and Khalas Samaht in 2008. Her later albums include Mesh Mesamha (2015) and Keda Bye (2019). El Zoghbi's career has spanned over two decades, earning her significant recognition in the Arabic music scene.
