Nana Katase, born Kojima Nanako on November 7, 1981, in Japan, was a Japanese actress, model, and singer. She began her career as a bikini model in 1998 and gained significant media attention the following year when she accidentally exposed herself during a modeling event. This incident led to her debut as an actress in the dorama Bishoujo H2. In December 2002, Katase released her debut single "Galaxy / Telepathy / Fantasy" under Avex, marking the start of her music career. Her first album, Telepathy, was released in June 2003 and featured a mix of J-Pop and electronic music. The album achieved moderate success on the Oricon charts, selling over 32,000 copies. Katase continued to release singles and albums, including "Meu amor é…" and "Kindan no Telepathy (禁断のテレパシー)", before launching her second album, a covers collection, in mid-2004. In March 2005, she released Reloaded ~Perfect Singles~, an album commemorating her musical achievements, before retiring from the music industry later that year to focus on acting and modeling.
