Pablo Charlemoine, known professionally as Mal Ãlevé, was born in 1983 and is a Franco-German musician and activist. He co-founded the band Irie Révoltés in 2000, which became known for extensive touring across Europe and political activism, including performances at demonstrations and benefit concerts. After the group disbanded in 2017, Mal Ãlevé pursued a solo career. His debut solo album, Résistance Mondiale, reached number 15 on the German album charts in 2020. His music drew from reggae, dancehall, ska, rap, and punk, which addressed political themes and reflected his activism.
