Biography
Mutoid Man, an American heavy metal band from New York City, was formed in 2012 by guitarist and singer Stephen Brodsky and drummer Ben Koller. Bassist Nick Gageao later joined the band. Their first release, the EP Helium Head, came out in 2013 via Magic Bullet Records. Mutoid Man later signed with Sargent House Records and released their debut album, Bleeder, in 2015. The band became the house band for Two Minutes to Late Night, a heavy-metal themed talk show. Their second album, War Moans, was released in 2017 and featured guest appearances from Adam McGrath, Chelsea Wolfe, and Ben Chisholm. In 2019, Mutoid Man toured Europe with Kvelertak and Mastodon.
