Biography
Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen is a folk band from Germany founded in 2009. The band plays modern pirate songs. In 2012, Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen released their debut album Affentheater. The band subsequently performs regularly at the Wacken Open Air. Further albums followed with Grog 'n' Roll (2013) and Voodoo (2015). The fourth studio album Tortuga made it into the top 10 of the German charts at number 5 in 2017. In 2019, Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen released the album Leviathan. At number 7, it once again achieved a top position in Germany. Seemannsgrab followed two years later and reached number 3 in the German album charts. In the late summer of 2023, Mr. Hurley & Die Pulveraffen release studio album number 7 with Leuchtturm, again reaching number 3 in Germany. Another studio album, S.O.S., follows in September 2025. The band climbs to number 4 in the German charts.
