Biography
Motoki Omori, born on September 14, 1996, in Tokyo, is a Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist, and actor best known as the lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band Mrs. Green Apple. Omori launched his solo career in early 2021, releasing the digital EP French in February, followed by Midnight later that year, both of which showcased his melodic songwriting and lyrical depth. He expanded his solo discography with the single "Kaiga / Kotaeawase" (2025), the mini-album OITOMA (2026), and the single "MoyÅshi" (2026). From 2023 to 2024, Omori topped Billboard Japan's year-end Top Lyricists and Top Composers charts with his songwriting and received the GQ Japan Creativity Award in 2025. Beyond music, he starred in the film #I'll Tell You the Truth (2025) and appeared in the NHK drama Anpan (2025), further establishing his presence in Japan's entertainment industry.
