Kim Jong Bum, born on March 7, 1980, in Goyang, is a Korean ballad singer who debuted in February 2005. His agency gave him the stage name "Mose" in the hope of creating a miracle for the singer and helping the agency succeed. His debut album Love, Deep Longing was a hit, especially the song "It's Love." However, despite releasing several singles afterward, he didn't achieve much success and gradually had fewer singing opportunities, eventually working as a teacher and parcel deliverer. After his father passed away in 2018, he vowed never to sing again. Nevertheless, in 2019, an agency took him under their wing, and he prepared for a comeback album in June. A month before the release, he was involved in a car accident that left him bedridden and diagnosed with a rare disease requiring a major throat surgery. He returned to the music scene in 2021 on Sing Again Season 2, and in 2022, he competed on the Fire Trot program under his father Chun-gilâs name in his remembrance. He also participated in Mister Trot 3 in 2024, finishing 4th. Now, he is an active K-trot singer. Remarkably, his older songs have also made a chart comeback; his song "It's Love" from his first album Love, Deep Longing re-entered Bugs Top 100 R&B/Soul chart at number 80 during the week of June 30, 2025â20 years after its initial release.
