Biography

Moonshine Bandits, a country rap duo comprising Dusty âTexâ Dahlgren and Brett âBirdâ Brooks, formed in Los Banos, California in 2003. Their album Soggy Crackerz was released in 2003. In 2006, they followed with Prohibition, and in 2010 issued Divebars and Truckstops. A 2011 partnership with Suburban Noize Records yielded Whiskey and Women, featuring the single "My Kind of Country". 2014âs Calicountry debuted at number 22 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart, while 2015âs Blacked Out entered the Top Rap Albums at number 10. Subsequent releases include Baptized in Bourbon (2017) and The Whiskey Never Dries (2019).
