Biography

Japanese singer-songwriter Miyuna makes vibrant, hyper-modern J-pop with rock, jazz, and soul influences. Born in Miyazaki-ken on June 7, 2002, she learned to play electric-acoustic guitar when she was still at high school after familiarising herself with western pop acts like Whitney Houston. Her debut single, "Gamushara" was released in 2018 and was quickly followed by "Tenjou Tenge." Both singles were used as the opening and ending themes for the anime series Black Clover. 2019 saw the release of mini-album Me – which went to number 10 on Japan's Oricon chart – along with third single "Boku to Kimi no Lullaby," which was used as the ending theme for manga series Fairy Tail. She has released several more mini-albums and live recordings since her 2018 debut, from fourth single "Yurareru," which was used as the theme song for the 2019 Japanese remake of the Korean film Blind and 2020 mini-album reply. Her first full-length album, Guidance, arrived in 2022.
