Biography

Metavari is an electronic music project led by Nathaniel David Utesch, founded in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States, in 2008. Originally a post-rock band, Metavari released their debut Ambling EP in 2008. In 2015, they transitioned into an electronic music project with the release of Moonless, funded through a Kickstarter campaign. Following this shift, Metavari released Metropolis (2017), a re-score of Fritz Langâs classic film, commissioned by Fort Wayneâs Cinema Center and distributed on One Way Static Records for Record Store Day 2017.
