Melody Prochet, born 3â¯Aprilâ¯1987 in AixâenâProvence, France, is a French singer, songwriter, guitarist and keyboardist who performs under the project name Melody's Echo Chamber. After twelve years of studying viola at the conservatoire in AixâenâProvence, she founded My Beeâs Garden in 2006 and released the album Hunt the Sleeper in 2010; the same year she collaborated on Staring at the Ice Melt by Fortune. In 2012, following a tour with Tame Impala, she began a partnership with Kevin Parker and released the selfâtitled album Melody's Echo Chamber on Fat Possum Records; the single "I Follow You" reached the Billboard Heatseekers chart, peaking at numberâ¯61. The project continued with the 2014 single "Shirim", a 2015 Austin Psych Fest appearance that was later cancelled due to visa issues, and the 2017 single "Cross My Heart", which announced an upcoming album Bon Voyage. The independent release Bon Voyage came out in Juneâ¯2018 after the single "Breathe In, Breathe Out"; it was recorded in a Swedish studio in Solna. In 2022 she issued the album Emotional Eternal and the single "Unfold"; "Unfold" was the longâdelayed sequel to the 2012 album, intended to be completed with Kevin Parker but abandoned after their split. With the singles "In the Stars" and "Daisy", she continued her creative output before the release of the fourth full-length Unclouded in December 2025.
