Biography
MC Gui is the stage name of Guilherme Kaue Castanheira Alves, a Brazilian funk ostentação singer and racing driver who was born in 1998 in São Paulo. He began writing funk lyrics at age ten with his brother, leading to a professional musical investment by his father. Alves achieved national recognition with the release of the song âEla Querâ, followed by the 2013 single âO Bonde Passouâ, which received more than 1.5 million views on YouTube. His debut live album and DVD, O Bonde à Seu â Ao Vivo, was released in 2014 and sold more than 30,000 copies. He has collaborated with artists such as Latino on the single âBeija ou Não Beija?â (2014) and participated in the talent show Dancing Brasil in 2017 and the thirteenth season of A Fazenda in 2021. Outside of his music career, Alves competes in the NASCAR Brasil Sprint Race, where he won four races and the Special Edition AM championship in 2023.
