Biography

The four-piece Cologne-based female band MÃ¤tropolis was founded in Cologne in 2022 and consists of Linda Teodosiu (vocals), Jo Eicker (guitar), Jenny Gerdts (bass, keyboard) and Trish Ross (drums). The musicians combine many years of stage experience with modern, danceable pop-rock elements and interpret their songs in KÃ¶lsch, often in the context of carnival and regional culture. The first single "Hingerm Horizont" is released in 2022, followed by the singles "FiÃ¤sta", "Mamm", "Schluck Schluck" and "Nit loss" in 2023. In 2024, they released "Rakete", followed in 2025 by "Rakete - Party Version", "Ich han dat Marieche jebÃ¼tz", "Niemols im Levve" and "Rakete - Apres Ski Version".
