Martti Vainaa & Sallitut aineet was a Finnish pop band formed in 2001, originating from Finland. Initially starting as a trio, the band evolved to include five members by 2005. Early on, Martti Vainaa & Sallitut aineet produced cover songs with original lyrics and adjustments before transitioning to creating their own music. Their breakthrough came in 2005 with the release of "Pelimies", which reached Number 1 on the Finnish single list during the summer of that year. The song became a notable summer hit and was originally created as a supporter song for the Floorball team Happee, appearing in several videos featuring Janne Pesonen. Following this success, Martti Vainaa & Sallitut aineet released their album Onnellinen nyt in the same year. Other notable singles included "Playboy-Hanna" (2006) and the "Pelimies 2006 Dance Remixes". The band gave its final public performance on April 20, 2014, at Happee floorball club's Finnish Championship gold celebration at Hippos Hall in Jyväskylä.
