Marco Di Mauro, born on January 6, 1980, in Reggio Emilia, Italy, is an Italian singer-songwriter, musician, and actor known for his emotive Latin pop ballads. His passion for music began early, learning guitar at eight and writing songs soon after. Despite studying law and architecture, Marco Di Mauro always pursued music, performing as a teen across Italy and Spain and recording demos. In 2007, he met manager Rosa Lagarrigue, who recognized his talent and helped launch his career. His debut album, Marco Di Mauro (2009), produced by Warner Music, featured hit singles "Nada de Nada" and "Mi vida sabe a ti," both of which reached top radio spots across Latin America and earned him a Gold certification. In 2011, he released the hit duet "A partir de hoy" with Maite Perroni, featured on the Televisa telenovela Triunfo del amor, earning Marco Di Mauro platinum status. His 2013 album ¡Te quiero! included "Eres tú" and "Ámame," which charted throughout the Americas. Alongside his music career, Marco Di Mauro showcased his acting talents in popular telenovelas and authored the well-received book A veces quisiera un hijo y a veces… sólo un cigarro más.
