Marcelo Jaime Nisinman, born on 21 December 1970 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a bandoneon player, composer, and arranger. He studied under Julio Pane and Guillermo Graetzer in Buenos Aires before moving to Basel, Switzerland, where he continued his studies with Detlev Müller-Siemens. Nisinman's career includes performances with notable artists such as Gidon Kremer, Gary Burton, and Ute Lemper, as well as collaborations with tango legends like Roberto Goyeneche and Libertad Lamarque. His compositions blend traditional tango elements with contemporary music techniques. Notable works include his chamber opera Señor Retorcimientos (2004) and the album Desvios: Tango Theater Music (2009). Nisinman's unique style has earned him residencies at prestigious events like the Oxford Chamber Music Festival in 2008.
