Biography

Marc Trauner, known professionally as Marc Acardipane, was born on April 7, 1969, in Frankfurt, Germany. He began his music career in 1985 and is considered a pioneer of the hardcore techno style. In 1990, Trauner released the single "We Have Arrived" under the pseudonym Mescalinum United, marking a pivotal moment in the development of techno hardcore. He founded Planet Core Productions (PCP) with Thorsten Lambart, releasing hundreds of tracks from 1989 to 1996. Notable releases from this period include "I Like It Loud" and "Six Million Ways to Die". As PCP's activity declined, Trauner continued his career with successful tracks like "Hardcore Motherfucker" and "Stereo Murder", achieving chart success in Belgium and the Netherlands. In 2020, he released the compilation, The Most Famous Unknown.
