Lara Bianca Fuchs, also known as Lara, born on February 14, 1980, in Hopfgarten, Tirol, Austria, is a singer and presenter in the field of Schlager and folk music. She began performing at her family's hotel and received classical vocal training. In 1994, Fuchs participated in the Grand Prix der Volksmusik under her birth name, reaching seventh place with "Die bunten Träume der Kindheit". From 1997 to 2001, she collaborated with Ray Watts as the duo "Bianca & Ray," achieving several successes in folk music. After parting ways, Fuchs resumed her solo career under the name Lara and signed with producers Oliver Statz and Joachim Horn-Bernges. Her first single as Lara was "Du bist schön". She released multiple albums, including Unwiderstehlich (2004), Ganz nah bei dir (2006), and Herzbeben (2016). Notable songs include "Hello", a German cover of Lionel Richie's hit.
