Biography
Mama Digdown's Brass Band, an eight-piece brass band from Madison, Wisconsin, was formed in 1993 by Erik Jacobson and Christopher "Roc" Ohly. The group played its first shows at the local Art Fair on the Square and released their debut album, North of New Orleans, in 1995. They followed with three more full-length albums: Big Boy (1998), Slippery 7 (1999), and Mama's House (2001). The band gained recognition through tours across the United States and Europe, releasing live albums such as Delicious in late 2002. Their subsequent studio album includes We Make 'Em Say Ooh (2009) and their most recent single is "Outstanding" (2020).
