Biography
Maïa Vidal is a Franco-American musician and artist. She enjoyed success from the age of 15, as singer and bassist with the punk trio Kiev, between 2003 and 2005. After a few years' hiatus, during which she honed her skills as a visual artist, she resurfaced under the pseudonym Your Kid Sister, releasing the EP Poison (5 Rancid Songs That I Love) in 2010. It features covers of Californian punk band Rancid in a delicate, poetic pop-folk style. It's in this universe that she continues to evolve. In autumn 2011, she released the album God Is My Bike, this time under her real name.
