Biography

Machine Gun Fellatio, an Australian alternative rock band formed in 1997, emerged from the combination of two Sydney bands, Vrag and Limebunny. Their breakthrough came with the release of "Isaac or Fuzz", a track that received significant airplay on national youth broadcaster Triple J. The band's debut EP Love Comes to an End followed, though it was reportedly limited in distribution. Machine Gun Fellatio released their first studio album, Bring It On, in September 2000 under Mushroom Records. Their second album, Paging Mr. Strike, included the popular single "Rollercoaster", which featured more radio-friendly lyrics and was used in a commercial for Just Jeans. The band's live performances were notorious for their provocative antics, including nudity and implied sexual acts with instruments. In 2003, they released 2nd Page for Mr. Strike, a two-disc edition containing remixes and rare tracks. Despite controversies and internal issues, Machine Gun Fellatio continued to perform at major festivals such as Big Day Out and Woodford Folk Festival. Their final album, On Ice, was released in 2004, after which the band disbanded in 2005 due to burnout, drug use, and creative differences. Post-breakup, members pursued various projects, including Pinky Beecroft forming The White Russians and KK Juggy releasing jazz and blues albums.
